Is Hoverping affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta?

No. Hoverping is an independent tool that works with messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram. WhatsApp is a trademark of its respective owner and is mentioned only to describe compatibility.

Can it tell if a number actually has WhatsApp?

There's no official, reliable way to verify that before opening a chat — so Hoverping doesn't pretend to. It detects valid numbers and lets the messaging app confirm when you open the conversation. Numbers that are already published as chat links are highlighted distinctly.

Where do my numbers go?

Nowhere. Detection runs entirely inside your browser. Hoverping doesn't send the numbers you see to any server. Payment and licensing are handled by our payment processor; that's the only network call.

What's the daily limit on the free plan?

You can open up to 20 chats per day for free — plenty for everyday use. Copy, call and SMS are always unlimited. Pro removes the limit and unlocks export, templates and multi-messenger.

I switched computers or reinstalled — do I lose Pro?

No. Your Pro license is tied to your purchase email, not to a device. If you're signed into Chrome with sync on, Pro carries over automatically. Otherwise, open the extension, click “Already paid? Restore access” and log in with your purchase email — no need to buy again. You can use Pro on as many of your own computers as you like.
