Terms of Service

Last updated: June 4, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hoverping browser extension and related website (the "Service"), operated from Brazil ("Hoverping", "we", "us", "our"). By installing or using Hoverping, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Hoverping detects phone numbers on web pages and lets you start a conversation with them (via WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS or a phone call) or export them, without manually saving contacts. Some features are free; others require a paid "Pro" plan.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Hoverping for your own personal or business purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent the paid features or usage limits of the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You are solely responsible for how you use Hoverping and for the messages and calls you send. You agree that you will:

Hoverping is a tool that helps you reach numbers you are already entitled to contact. It does not send bulk or automated messages, and you must not use it to do so. Misuse may violate the law and the policies of third-party platforms, for which you alone are responsible.

4. Subscriptions, billing and renewal

Pro plans are offered as recurring subscriptions (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time "lifetime" purchase. Payments are processed by our payment provider, ExtensionPay (using Stripe). Recurring plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before renewal. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice for future billing periods.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time; your Pro access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again. If you are not satisfied, contact us at contact@hoverping.com within 14 days of a charge and we will consider a refund in good faith. Consumer rights that apply in your jurisdiction (for example, the statutory right of withdrawal under Brazilian consumer law) are unaffected by this section.

6. Third-party services

Hoverping works with third-party services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Stripe and ExtensionPay. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., or Telegram. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

7. Availability and "as is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that number detection will be complete or error-free, that a detected number is valid or reachable on any messaging platform, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. You use the Service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using Hoverping at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of the State of São Paulo, Brazil, unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
